Study: 96% of drugs used in NICUs lack neonatal label indications

A study in JAMA Pediatrics found 96% of 399 drugs used in NICUs did not have adequate neonatal label indications for dosage, safety and efficacy. Researchers at the University of North Carolina said half of all drug labels do not have sufficient labeling for children overall.
