NFPA disagrees with proposed trans fatty acid label

The National Food Processors Association said the FDA proposal would lead consumers to falsely believe that trans fatty acid has no place in a balanced diet. The proposal is calling for food processors to list the amount of trans fatty acids on nutrition labels.
