More elementary schools offer IB

The number of U.S. elementary schools offering the rigorous International Baccalaureate program has grown from six to 72 since 2000, as administrators seek new ways to add more rigor to their curricula. Some schools with a predominantly low-income student body are using the program to attract children from more affluent families.
