FCC OKs cable cap, new ownership rules

As expected, the FCC on Tuesday voted to enact a rule that limits the national market share of any cable TV company to 30%. The commission also voted, 3-2, in favor of the proposed ownership rules allowing media companies to own both a newspaper and TV station outside the top four in the top 20 markets.
