Report: Shoppers in Wash. city prefer own reusable bags

A growing number of shoppers in Olympia, Wash., bring their own nondisposable grocery bags instead of using of the plastic or paper bags provided by the store. An estimated 4 billion plastic bags end up as litter, while paper-bag production requires 14 million trees per year, according to a report from a nonprofit group.
