Maryland lawmaker wants state review of EDF offer

Maryland legislator James Rosapepe wants state regulators to have more authority over the sale of half of Baltimore-based Constellation Energy Group's nuclear energy enterprises to Electricite de France. Constellation dropped billionaire Warren Buffett's offer of $4.7 billion Wednesday in favor of the French company's offer of $4.5 billion. EDF is Constellation's biggest shareholder.
