Report: Room for improvement in school-food programs

A new report says U.S. schoolchildren are getting too many calories from solid fats in foods such as pizza and hamburgers, as well as from sugars in candy and soda. Child-nutrition programs are due for reauthorization by Congress in 2009, and changes could provide long-term health benefits, the report notes.
