Alaska lawmaker wants EPA's GHG finding overturned

Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, a member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources panel, will sponsor a resolution to repeal the Environmental Protection Agency's finding that greenhouse-gas emissions endanger human health. The EPA finding would substantially damage the economy by saddling businesses with more costs, said Murkowski, whose effort is backed by other Senate and House Republicans. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., criticized the move, calling it "radical in the extreme."
