Blu-ray group agrees on standard for 3-D machines

The Blu-ray Disc Association has settled on a standard for bringing full 1080p viewing of 3-D movies to TVs. Details about the first Blu-ray machines to use the standard specs will be released in January. "We believe this demand for 3-D content will carry over into the home now that we have, in Blu-ray disc, a medium that can deliver a quality full HD 3-D experience to the living room," said Victor Matsuda, Blu-ray Disc Association Global Promotions Committee chairman.
