One year later, TVA still cleaning up coal ash spill

One year after a massive coal ash spill at a Tennessee Valley Authority power plant, cleanup continues. TVA contracted with Sevenson Environmental Services to dredge the Emory River 24 hours a day, six days a week. Crews have removed 1 million cubic yards of ash so far, but estimate that removal of the spilled 5.4 million cubic yards could take until 2013.
