White House goes green with energy-efficiency measures

While President Barack Obama engages in talks at the United Nations climate conference in Copenhagen, back at home the White House is walking the walk. The complex that includes the president's residence has installed more efficient heating and cooling systems, used organic paint, low-flow toilets and lights that turn off by themselves. In other government buildings, going green means reducing by half the amount of garbage produced and installing more efficient lights.
