Gains predicted for aseptic packaging

A report on aseptic packaging predicts the industry will grow 7% a year, in part because more food and drink makers will use the technology instead of metal cans. "Advantages such as extended shelf life without refrigeration for perishable food will propel gains, especially for products sold for foodservice and food processing uses," said the report, Aseptic Packaging to 2015.
