Mass. diagnostics firm wins $3.28M from Gates Foundation

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded $3.28 million to Seventh Sense Biosystems as part of a foundation program that is intended to increase developing countries' access to diagnostic tools. The company will use the money to develop a version of its Touch Activated Phlebotomy platform, which is intended to facilitate blood collection and diagnostics.
