Abengoa suspends operations at Dutch ethanol plant

Spain's Abengoa has temporarily stopped operations at its ethanol plant in Rotterdam, Netherlands, while enhancements are made at the facility. The facility is the biggest ethanol plant in Europe, capable of churning out 126.8 million gallons of ethanol and 360,000 metric tons of animal feed annually, the company said. The plant will be idled for up to three months, the company said.
