BP targets January start for Ohio Utica Shale drilling

BP plans to start drilling in Ohio's Utica Shale formation as soon as January and is moving workers to a new Utica Operations Center in the Youngstown area. "We've been working toward this since March of this year when we initially signed the agreement to lease 84,000 acres in Trumbull County for oil and gas production," said Joe Uppercue, BP operations manager for Ohio.
