First phase of $800M maglev-rail plan in Fla. gets approval

The first phase of an $800 million plan to build a magnetic-levitation train in Florida has been approved by the MetroPlan Orlando Board. The phase involves construction of 14.9 miles of track and would cost about $315 million. The line will run from Orlando International Airport to the Orange County Convention Center and include four stops.
