Orient-Express Hotels will sell 2 properties for $45M

Orient-Express Hotels has entered into agreements to sell two of its assets for a total of $45 million. The properties for sale are the Westcliff hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the Porto Cupecoy development in St. Maarten. The hotel firm has unveiled major renovation plans for two of its top hotels -- the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Charleston Place in Charleston, S.C. -- which will begin in 2013.
