Scientists say they're hot on the trail of "Piltdown man"

Scientists say they're on the brink of learning the true origins of "Piltdown man," the faked "missing link" remains found in England in 1912. Some had suspected author Arthur Conan Doyle of perpetrating the hoax, but forensic analyses suggest the true culprit might be amateur archeologist Charles Dawson, the bones' discoverer.
