Town's growth increases demand for specialized wound care

St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital near Houston has added specialized services, including wound care, as the area population has grown. High rates of diabetes and obesity have increased demand for specialized wound care, says Dr. Caroline Fife, the wound care center's director. "The good news is that we have the burgeoning of technology that can handle a lot of these problems with specialized knowledge," she said.
