Town officials discuss calling bond of contractor for Md. beach project

Officials in Ocean City, Md., have told a contractor that they will call the company's performance bond if work on a boardwalk comfort station isn't substantially completed by Friday. The $938,000 project is "significantly behind schedule due to weather delays and contractor performance," but work has picked up since the contractor learned that the bond may be called, officials said.
