Beer battle brews between Budweiser, Budvar

Much to the satisfaction of Anheuser-Busch, the E.U.'s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market has ruled that Czech brewer Budvar may not use the Budweiser name for its beer. The Czech company contends it has rights to the name because its beer is made in the town of Ceske Budejovice, which means "Budweis" in German.
