Mobile buying is "absolutely real" trend for holidays

Shopping on mobile iPads, smartphones and other mobile devices this holiday season has become a small, but noticeable trend. Mobile retail buying made up about 1 in 20 online sales in November, compared with the same period last year when such purchases were too few to tally, Coremetrics is reporting. "There were early adopters last year, but it's absolutely real this year," said Kelly O'Neill, director of industry marketing for online and mobile commerce platform supplier ATG.
