Tax bill's passage brings certainty to estate planning

Estate planning will be easier for the next two years now that The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 has passed Congress and been signed into law by the president. Estate-tax provisions in that bill include a $5 million exclusion and a top estate tax rate of 35%.
