Android phones violate Apple patent, U.S. agency rules

The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that some features of smartphones using Google's Android operating system violate a patent owned by Apple. Taiwanese phone manufacturer HTC said it would change the software to comply with the ruling. The decision could eventually affect other phone makers.
