Group files proposal to raise Missouri's renewable-power target

Clean-energy advocate Renew Missouri has filed a ballot proposal that would require investor-owned utilities in Missouri to obtain 25% of their power from renewable sources by 2026, up from the current target of 15% by 2021. The proposal would also give Missouri's Office of Public Counsel the power to enforce the state's renewable-energy standard.
