Japanese regulator issues trading suspension for Citibank Japan

Japan's Financial Services Agency says Citibank Japan pushed inappropriate products on customers and tried to manipulate short-term interest rates. In the third sanction for Citi in seven years, the regulator ordered the bank to suspend its trading of derivatives products related to the London interbank offered rate and the Tokyo interbank offered rate for 10 business days.
