Study examines how people search online for health information

Consumers are more likely to use mobile devices to search the Web for information on sensitive health conditions, such as sexually transmitted diseases and mental health problems, according to a Healthline study. Consumers searched for information on general conditions such as cancer, diabetes and infections more often with desktop or laptop computers than with mobile devices, the study found.
