Eco-innovation helps companies boost profit

Business-model innovation is the missing link between corporate sustainability efforts and improved bottom-line performance, experts say. A study found that half of companies whose CSR efforts led them to change three or four elements of their business model saw a significant profit boost, against just 37% of companies that changed only a single element of their business model.
