Economists anticipate more construction jobs in 2013

A rebound in construction spending is creating more jobs, but builders are finding a shortage of qualified applicants. "Spending is getting better, and yet employment is not," said Ken Simonson, chief economist at the Associated General Contractors of America. About 250,000 construction-related jobs will be generated next year, Moody's Analytics Chief Economist Mark Zandi says.
