Time is running out for bills to make it through Congress before the year ends, so some groups are hoping to attach their legislative priorities to a "fiscal cliff" deal. Scott Talbott, senior vice president of public policy for The Financial Services Roundtable, hopes to see the extension of the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act included. "If anything gets on the fiscal cliff bill, it'll be bipartisan and not controversial," he said. "We think this qualifies."
