Obama threatens to veto Boehner's "fiscal cliff" plan

House Republican leaders worked on lining up votes to pass Speaker John Boehner's "Plan B" for averting the "fiscal cliff," which would extend tax cuts for Americans with incomes up to $1 million. President Barack Obama said he will veto the measure if it makes it through Congress. Boehner's leadership team told Republicans the measure is a way to extract further concessions from Obama on taxes and spending. Plan B, however, is not expected to pass the Senate.
