Obama threatens to veto Boehner's "fiscal cliff" plan

House Republican leaders worked on lining up votes to pass "Plan B", a plan by House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, for averting the "fiscal cliff" which would extend tax cuts for Americans with incomes of up to $1 million. President Barack Obama said he will veto the measure if it makes it through Congress. Boehner's leadership team told Republicans the measure is a way to extract further concessions from Obama on taxes and spending.
