Next year is expected to be a continuation of the digital revolution for marketers and chief marketing officers in particular. IDC predicts marketing will operate under a shared services model and most CMOs will develop a recruitment process specifically aimed at incorporating data analysis skills. Digital is also expected to comprise half of marketing budgets by 2016.
