CAD risk device lets docs monitor patients from afar

Researchers are testing a tool designed to identify patients at high risk of heart attack. The modified blood pressure cuff evaluates endothelial function, an important factor in inflammation and clotting. Dysfunction of the tissues can have serious consequences, and the ability to monitor it could give patients greater flexibility. Cardiologists are working on the device with experts at iHealth.
