Construction has been allowed to continue at the Arena Amazonia in Manaus, Brazil, after work was suspended at the site following a fatal roof fall, according to this article. Local labor officials said the builders complied with safety standards, but they have restricted the roofing work to daytime because the accident happened during the night shift. The roof of the 42,000-seat arena is expected to look like snake scales once all of its diamond-shaped panels are put into place.
