Developer survey: Facebook popularity grows, Windows wanes

Mobile development company Appcelerator and the IDC surveyed 6,700 application developers and found 66% connect apps to Facebook -- 13 points ahead of Twitter, the runner-up. The same survey found developer enthusiasm for HTML5 has declined in the past year and so has interest in developing for Windows -- although 37% of developers said they intend to create apps for Windows Phone.
