EPA releases final rule on carbon capture

The Environmental Protection Energy on Thursday released a final rule that is intended to ease the implementation of carbon capture and sequestration technologies. The rule, criticized by industry groups, also addresses the classification of carbon sequestration. There is a 75-day comment period on the rule.
