Coke, Pepsi rebrand diet sodas

Looking to better position their clear sugar-free sodas in the crowded beverage market, Coca-Cola renamed Diet Sprite as Diet Sprite Zero and PepsiCo has rebranded Diet Sierra Mist as Sierra Mist Free. While some beverage industry experts question the possible risk of removing "diet" from popular brands, others contend the move could broaden the sector.
