Research from TowerGroup pegs the annual cost of e-mail phishing scams at $137 million. While attacks are expected to triple in the coming years, reports of scam e-mails to ISPs and the advocacy organization, the Anti-Phishing Working Group, are up 28% each month since July, DMNews editor Tad Clarke writes.
