European regulators approve Humira for psoriasis

Abbott Laboratories has obtained European Commission approval to market its injectable rheumatoid arthritis drug, Humira, as a treatment for moderate to severe psoriasis. The drug was effective in clearing 75% or more of inflamed red skin lesions in more than three-fourths of patients during a clinical trial, according to Abbott.
