Search companies fold in Internet casinos case

Microsoft, Google and Yahoo! will shell out a combined $31.5 million in response to government accusations the companies disseminated advertising for online gambling businesses promoting illegal betting. None of the companies conceded liability. Some of the money will fund a campaign to inform young people of the prohibition against online gambling in the U.S.
