Students learn mock-trial lessons by taking the "Big Bad Wolf" to court

Some gifted fourth-graders at an Iowa school are learning about the legal system by putting the "Big Bad Wolf" on trial. The teacher who leads the annual lesson says there is no script, and students design the case themselves, learning the importance of the questions they ask and critical-thinking skills. "You can design a question to get certain pieces of information," she said.
