Airport officials say travelers have become familiar with scanners

Officials at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport think many travelers have accepted the airport's new full-body scanners, and they expect less resistance to the scanners this holiday travel season. "I think when people go through the machines for the first time they'll say 'Wow, that was easy,'" said Cedric Alexander, the federal security director at DFW, where traffic is expected to climb 3.8% this holiday season from year-ago levels.
