America's aging wastewater infrastructure needs $600B for repairs

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was a boon to water and wastewater projects, but that's about over now, and it will take an additional $600 billion to repair the country's deteriorating infrastructure, writes Angela Godwin. Potential budget cuts for water programs put funding at about $1 billion less than fiscal 2010 levels, which has some -- including AGC -- looking into ways to spur private investment in water projects.
