Report: States have more work to do under NCLB waivers

States seeking waivers from No Child Left Behind have not completed plans to hold schools accountable, according to a recent report. The Center on Education Policy found that only one of 26 surveyed states had adopted a differentiated accountability system, and only one had finished plans for evaluating teachers. While seven states have new academic standards, most say they are working toward the required reforms.
