Calif. roofing company finds unique work at belfry of historic church

A roofing company in Auburn, Calif., says it found a unique job when it installed an acid-washed, bronze-colored cross atop the belfry of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, according to this article. Jim Doughty, owner of Auburn Roofing, says the installation was a first in the company's 34 years of business, and notes an emphasis on safety as anchors and lines were put into place. Auburn Roofing also installed ridge shingles on the roof of the church.
