Boeing mulls stretch version of 787

Boeing is considering a stretch version of its new 787 jetliner and is talking with several airlines about such a plane. Boeing had initially thought that a larger 787 would compete against its 777. However, its rival Airbus is already designing a plane to compete against the 787-9 and 777-200ER.
