Publicis to acquire Digitas for $1.3B

Paris-based advertising holding company Publicis Groupe has agreed to acquire interactive advertising firm Digitas for $1.3 billion in cash. Digitas' worldwide revenues last year were $350.4 million, and the deal reportedly constitutes the industry's biggest since WPP Group purchased Grey Global Group in 2005.
