Telecoms submit final bids for federal Networx program

AT&T, Verizon Business, Sprint Nextel Corp. and Qwest were expected to submit their final bids Wednesday on the main contract for the 10-year, $20 billion Networx program. The federal program covers domestic and international voice, data, video and wireless services for all U.S. federal agencies and is believed to be the largest pending network deal in the world.
