AH&LA cites disappointment over inaction on seasonal-worker program

The American Hotel & Lodging Association said it was extremely disappointed that Congress failed to include a provision for relief for the H-2B temporary-seasonal-worker program in its fiscal 2008 omnibus appropriations bill. Many employers will be unable to hire temporary seasonal workers who are vital to the operation of their businesses, said Marlene M. Colucci, AH&LA executive vice president for public policy.
